-Bring any items that will make you more comfortable during the tattoo. Recommended products include: noise cancelling headphones, blankets, pillows, books, squeezable stress ball, podcasts, downloaded movies and music.
-Bring a bottle of water and a substantial snack (such as food bars, fruit, and other non perishables). Eating and drinking during your appointment will prevent drops in blood sugar.
-Wear adjustable clothing that allows access to the tattoo area. Button down shirts, loose dresses, tank tops, and shorts are all ideal. Sometimes one can experience a drop in body temperature. Thick socks and loose front zip sweaters are helpful warming garments.
-Arrange a ride home from the tattoo. Sometimes after a session, your blood sugar can drop unexpectedly, causing dizziness. Driving is not recommended until rested and recovered.
